Bear Grylls

Winter is really hard on my mental health. I thought that getting another dog would make me feel better. I was right! Introducing my new baby, Bear Grylls. He looks like a cute teddy bear and acts like one too. We called him Bear Grylls because he drank his own pee. He doesn't do it anymore but it was gross enough.

These are some of the teens I teach for Sunday school: the 11-13 year olds. Milo was a panelist in our Garden Park youth conference. Jared took me out to brunch to celebrate San Valentines day. I went out with Marni Chandler to celebrate Galentines day. We had an amazing charcuterie board from Bartolo's. Milo finally got his hands on the most crazy pants I have ever seen. JNCOs. Milo loves them. He should be a brand ambassador for those huge pants.

Oregon

We took a quick trip to Portland, Oregon. We had never been there and it was a great adventure. We went to the Zoo and to Cannon Beach. I have always wanted to visit Oregon because I am a huge fan of the Goonies.

On our way to the beach. We had lunch at Cannon beach at an overrated restaurant. I get disappointed when the food doesn't match the ambiance.

On our way to the airport, we stopped at one of the locations for Voodoo Doughnuts. They were good. I really had a great time in Oregon. I can see myself living there.

Bear and Chloe. It was hard at first for Chloe to accept Bear because she doesn't like other dogs. As time has passed, both of them have accepted each other. Chloe looks like Bear's mom. I love to see them chasing each other and talking. I didn't know dogs could make sounds like that.

I took Milo on a Mama and son date after his play practice. I went to clean the church that Saturday and installed a net on the gate because Bear kept getting out of the house. Bear wouldn't leave too far. He would just stay in the front yard and wait there until I opened the front door.

After doing that, I headed to my stake Relief Society women's conference. I always have a great time learning from all those women. The food was great. I haven't been very socially active lately and it is getting harder to engage in small talk.

The youth of our ward went out for an overnight trip to Norm Younker's cabin. Jared accompanied the boys which gives me peace of mind.

Milo received an award from his school. Mario finally got his learners permit. He doesn't have the least amount of interest in learning how to drive. I don't blame him. Utah drivers are some of the worst drivers in the country. I personally avoid using the freeways because it makes me anxious. I understand Mario.
