January Birthdays

Birthday "boy" 42!!

We woke up early (6am ) to celebrate Milo's birthday. Jared had to go travel to San Francisco that day and he wasn't going to be back until 11pm. We opened presents early and I took Milo to celebrate his 14th birthday at a Japanese tapas place. Our little neighbors (Leon and Nolan) made a cute card for Milo

Milo is 14th!

The day after Jared’s birthday, we celebrated Milo’s special day at a trampoline park, and it was such a fun time! Jared planned the entire party, which I was so grateful for, especially since my brain has been in a bit of a fog lately due to seasonal depression. It’s been a challenge to stay fully present, so I’m thankful that Jared stepped up and made sure everything went smoothly. Milo had the most amazing time, and it was clear how much he appreciated the effort that went into making his birthday unforgettable.

Milo is such an incredible kid. He’s wise beyond his years, and it’s truly amazing to watch him grow into such a thoughtful, kind, and mature young man. Of course, like any teenager, the hormones can be a bit much for both of us at times, but he is just about as perfect as a child can be. I’m so proud of the person he’s becoming, and I feel incredibly lucky to be his mami. He’s surrounded by a wonderful group of friends who care about him deeply, and it warms my heart to see him so happy and well-supported.

Jared's 42nd Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my amazing husband! I hope you have many more wonderful years ahead, filled with love, laughter, and success. May all your dreams come true, and may this year bring you even closer to everything you’ve been working towards. I am so grateful to share this journey with you.

Jared isn’t a fan of big parties or being the center of attention for too long—it makes him feel uncomfortable. He prefers more low-key celebrations, and this year for his birthday, he took us to a Hot Pot place to celebrate. It was such a great experience! I’d never been to a Hot Pot restaurant before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but now I understand why Jared enjoys it so much. The concept is so fun and interactive, allowing everyone to cook their own food right at the table.

It was a perfect fit for Jared, as it was intimate and casual, which made him feel at ease. We all had a great time trying different combinations of ingredients and enjoying each other's company without the pressure of a large crowd. It was a celebration that truly reflected Jared’s personality—simple, thoughtful, and enjoyable.

Opening his presents and reading the heartfelt cards made by the boys was such a special moment. It’s always touching to see the boys love and admiration for Jared expressed in such meaningful ways.

Jared’s main gift hasn’t arrived yet. He’s waiting a pair of AI glasses that he’s been talking about for a while. He believes they will change his life in a big way, and I’m genuinely excited for him to experience them.I know Jared is someone who loves new technology, and this gift is something he’s really been looking forward to, so it’s bound to be an unforgettable part of his birthday. Also... socks, you can't never have enough socks.
