Another day skiing at Park City with Mario. We got in a few good runs, but the snow was super slushy. By the end of the day, the temperature dropped, and everything froze—turning the tracks icy and a lot more challenging.
Skiing really is such an amazing sport, but wow… my legs were so sore by the end. Thankfully, Mario was there to help me get my boots off because I could barely feel my toes. And of course, my knee decided to start acting up again. I knowI’m supposed to be going to physical therapy… I’ve just been a little busy.

Mario let me give him another facial cleanse. My poor Mario doesn’t always keep up with his skincare—it’s hard to stay on top of it for him. I’m just glad he lets me take care of it every once in a while.

My cookbook club is the perfect excuse to practice baking. We’ve started having “Mondays to Bake” at our home, and I’m honestly loving it.
This time, I made a strawberry lemon sponge cake with strawberry frosting—and it turned out so good. I was genuinely surprised (and very proud of myself).

We’re getting everything ready to submit Mario’s mission papers. We renewed his passport, completed his physical, and even found a new dentist since he can’t keep going to his pediatric one. Now we’re preparing to have his wisdom teeth removed—according to the X-rays, they are definitely ready to come out. Thank goodness for Jared’s insurance, which covers almost everything. I’ll only be paying about $300 out of pocket, plus the medication.
These photos are amazing. Milo is so athletic—he honestly inspires me to work out more. Sometimes I forget that I don’t have his metabolism… for me to lose weight, it feels like I have to stop eating altogether.

Laser microblading removal. I had my eyebrows microbladed back in 2018, thinking they would eventually fade—but they didn’t, and over time I just stopped liking how they looked. This was after my first removal session.
I’ve also been in the process of dissolving all the fillers I had in my face. It feels really good to be returning to a more natural version of myself.

No more microblading. Lasering those eyebrows
These are just a few random snapshots from our month. I’ll take any excuse to wear a dress and turn it into a mini photoshoot—no shame at all.
I also attempted another cake… this time a lemon cake. And listen, it tasted amazing, which is what really matters, right? The presentation, however… let’s just say it was humble. Very humble. There is a lot of room for improvement, but we’re getting there one slightly questionable cake at a time.

Well… more fun news—I bought a new car! Adding to our Tesla collection, here she is: my new Model Y 2026. It honestly feels a little like driving a Cybertruck, which I did not expect. It also reminds me of my first car… back when I drove like I was in NASCAR (no further questions, please 😅).
I even get a month of free self-driving, which feels very main character energy. And yes, I worked those discounts—student discount, Jared’s loyalty discount, and the classic end-of-quarter Tesla “we need to move inventory” moment.
To celebrate, we stopped by an empanada spot in Pleasant Grove—Guayoyo—and it was so good. Because obviously, every major life decision should end with good food.

We went to support Mario at his SkillsUSA convention, where he competed in the graphic design category for Utah high schools. SkillsUSA brings together students from all over the state to showcase real-world skills—from design and technology to leadership and trade professions—so it was incredible to see him be part of something so dynamic and competitive.
Watching him step into that environment, surrounded by so much talent and creativity, was such a proud moment for us. It’s not just a competition, it’s a sneek peek into their future careers.
He worked really hard and put himself out there, which already feels like a win in itself. Even though he didn’t place this time, we couldn’t be prouder of him. It takes courage to show up, compete, and share your work—and he did exactly that. This is just the beginning for him, and we know there’s so much more ahead.

Another wonderful play at the Eccles Theatre. Hadestown was great... a little too long. Jared and I were falling sleep

For our ward Easter activity, I volunteered to help hide eggs—which really just means I got way too invested in making them hard enough to find but not too hard (it’s a strategy, okay?).
Milo helped too… and then disappeared with the young men on a bike ride to who-knows-where. I have no idea where they went, but judging by how happy he came back, it was clearly the best decision of his life.
Meanwhile, I stayed and had such a fun time at the activity—and plot twist: I unlocked a new skill. I can now make balloon animals. Yes, actual balloon animals. Honestly, this might be my new personality trait.

We’ve been house hunting in the area and went to a few open houses—looking for something under $800K (which, apparently, is its own adventure these days).
Some of the neighborhoods… let’s just say they had character, and not the good kind. I’m trying to feel safe and at peace in my home, not like I need a security plan just to check the mail.
Meanwhile, Jared keeps falling in love with houses that have “charm.” And by charm, I mean the house smells a little suspicious, possibly has a ghost, and definitely includes a basement that looks like the setting of a crime documentary. Like… is this a home or a mystery to be solved?

Mario and I are part of our ward choir, and this is actually my first time ever being in one. I’m an alto—nothing too fancy, but I can hold my own.
What I love most, though, isn’t even the singing. It’s how it makes me feel. Staying after church for choir feels like a quiet moment to reconnect, almost like a prayer to Heavenly Father. Every time I leave, I feel renewed—lighter, calmer, more grounded.
I think we all go through seasons in life where things don’t quite make sense, where we’re searching for clarity or just trying to hold it together. We’re living in times where everything feels loud, fast, and sometimes uncertain… and for me, choir has become a small, sacred space in the middle of all that noise.

Mario looked so handsome in his new jacket. Every year, I get Mario and Milo outfits for Easter—it’s one of my favorite little traditions. I just love seeing my boys all dressed up.
I grew up going to church wearing your very best clothes, so that’s always stayed with me. When we lived in the U.S., especially in New Mexico, that wasn’t really the norm, and I always felt a little overdressed. But then we moved to the Bay Area, and everyone there was so stylish and put together.
And honestly, our ward in Utah? Exceptional. Finally, my love for dressing up feels right at home.

Mario was singing at the stake center. I couldn’t join him because I had to do homewor. I am falling behind because of task paralysis.

Another open house after church. I really like this one and the kitchen. This house actually was charming. I love that green kitchen.

Well, until next time. I have to still finish my homework for my business class.
