October 2025

Jared was so excited about the Primary program! Even though we don’t have any kids in Primary, he absolutely loved it—he’s like a little kid himself. I couldn’t resist taking a photo of “my little kid” at his Primary program.

I was invited to the wedding of Elaida and David, a new couple in our ward. It was such a beautiful celebration! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many Dominicans gathered together in Utah—I was so happy and excited.

Mario started a guitar class in high school, and I’ve picked up a new hobby too: embroidery! I’m actually really enjoying it. Jared and I also went to a play at the Eccles Theater recently. I can’t quite remember which one it was, so it probably wasn’t that great—but it was still a fun night out.

Another Young Men's hike. The boys went to a hot spring close to our cabin.

Fashionable Milo.

This year, I turned 41—officially middle-aged! I’ve decided I don’t plan on living past 80, so I’m making every year count. Last year was full of big celebrations with the people I love. This year, I kept it more low-key. We went to a beautiful restaurant in Cottonwood Heights, and the food was excellent.

In retrospect, I’m really loving my evolution. I honestly feel like I look younger now than I did in my twenties. I invest a lot in myself: I eat healthy, take great care of my skin, work out religiously, keep my mind active by learning new things, and surround myself with people who make me happy—and if they don’t, I move on. I’m doing things for me, and I love every second of it.

My sister sent me those beautiful flowers.

Fall is the best season for soups and corn bread.

Bear brought me this dead squirrel as a present.
Ready for cookbook club. I made zuppa Toscana. I am a real housewife of Salt Lake City.
Bear loves to be in all the photos.
Mario at his school meeting for graduation. Gosh, he is a senior!

I keep sending furniture to my place in the Dominican Republic because I love fixing it up little by little. The apartment is so girly—just the way I like it. I’m currently updating the kitchen with new white countertops and a pink backsplash. I also added new light fixtures in the bathroom, a ceiling fan in Mario’s room, and I’m considering some new dining chairs. I even had an inspector come by to check a small water filtration issue on the stairway wall.

At our home in Salt Lake City, I painted around the windows and have been searching for new window treatments that look beautiful without breaking the bank.

Fall Family Photos For 2025.

I desactive all my social media accounts. I was spending too much time there and I finished my first MBA class! I got an A-
