So proud of our Milo! 🏅 This was his 3rd race in Beaver, Utah, and he finished 5th in his group! We volunteered at the race, so we stayed until the very end—it was such an amazing day. I just love Beaver City, it’s so beautiful. Southern Utah reminds me of New Mexico, but cleaner, and the sunsets are just as stunning as the ones we had in Santa Fe.

I was invited to another cookbook club and had the best time meeting new people and just hanging out. 🤍 I made a roasted tomato & roasted peach salad, which turned out so good! I loved the recipe so much that the very next day I created my own version—with creamy burrata on top. 🍑🍅✨

Cookbook Club.

Our yearly back to school breakfast hosted by Jessica Patch.

Another “dangerous activity” 🤦🏻‍♀️: I was doing the dishes while listening to a podcast/audiobook. I got so focused on scrubbing a glass cup that I forgot it was glass… and it cracked right in my hand. The result? 13 stitches, antibiotics, and my hand wrapped up for almost 10 days. 🩹💔

Jazz Concert and picnic.
Don Thorpe (91) and his big band played for two hours amazing Jazz. There were a few singers and it was a wonderful evening. We are so lucky to live in this area.

9th and 9th Street Festival

We checked out a new restaurant: Mint Tapas and Sushi. 9/10

My face is finally healing from the forehead advancement surgery.

Last by not least, Mario and I joined our ward choir. I am tone deaf, but apparently I can sing. I thought I was an alto but they told me today I was a soprano. No idea what that means. Mario is doing great and I love spending time with him. He recruited me to be part of the choir.
