After the visit with Jared's family, it was time for us to go back to the cabin. We were able to rest and just enjoy nature. I do miss having little babies around but I am so glad we are out of that stage in life.
I invited all of Jared's family to celebrate pioneer week at our cabin. Pioneer Day is a HUGE deal in Utah. It is a bigger holiday than the 4th of July in this state.
I always think we are missing out and I over schedule myself. This is when the anxiety and OCD start taking over. I need to remind myself to live a day at a time and stop worrying so much about the future. I might not be here tomorrow with how all these gun massacres keep happening.
There is never a dull moment in Salt Lake City. April showers are here and that means power outages. We did a few art projects, we sang Johnny Cash songs, and headed to the movies to watch The Bad Guys. The power came back around midnight.
Mario went on a campout with the young men. He loves spending time with the YM. He was really proud of working on the fire at the cabin. I also saw a goose on my way to ward council on top of the building.
