I know that I am not in the pictures all the time, and I think this will be one of the last pictures while I am pregnant. I am looking really round and I think I might wait until my last month of the pregnancy to show you how big I am getting. I am almost 19 weeks pregnant and my face and body is getting swollen. Yes, I am watching my diet but like I told a girlfriend of mine, it's as if my body gets an allergic reaction when I am pregnant.I have also been reading about giving birth "the natural way" (with the good drugs of course), but the truth is that I am getting a little anxious after I saw and heard what happens when women give birth vaginally and you know what I mean, I don't need to get into details. I am trying to learn as much as I can to be prepared for this new experience, but I am not saying that I won't have a c-section, let's just see how I am feeling when that time comes.Meanwhile enjoy these cute pictures I took of Mario and Jared.
Mario is growing so fast and looking more and more handsome every day, and Jared has always been handsome so that is not news.
I am a really lucky woman.
Jared and Mario went together to the stake priesthood meeting. They are really active in church and going to the stake priesthood meeting together was one of their bonding activities. After the meeting, all the guys got some ice cream from Baskin Robbins.
In other news, Mario knows more than half of the alphabet and he can spell his first name and last name. He loves to count in Spanish and English until 10 (he has problems saying four and five), and he says "Te amo mami ( I love you Mami)" in such a sweet way; his vocabulary is growing so much. We were worried because he wouldn't make complete sentences and his vocabulary was almost nonexistent but after taking him to speech therapy for three weeks (twice a week) his vocabulary has grown so much, we are working hard at home so he can catch up. I am really lucky to have a child who is so well behaved and so smart. Jared and I are really grateful for having Mario in our lives. He is obsessed with cars and likes to clean his room because he doesn't like having a "mess" in his room.
